Day 247: Note to self: Soy Dream and Tortilla Chips is not a dinner my tummy appreciates
Not that I intended that to be my dinner, mind you. It's just once I did chow down on those two unrelated items as a late afternoon snack my tummy never felt like eating again all night.
Yesterday was a day of beauty for me...first I got my nails done (hands and feet) and then I headed over to get my hair done.
While there I talked to the woman who did my sister's make-up for her wedding and got a quote. not only didn't she seem particularly friendly, but she gave me a quote that indicated that it costs about $100 more to do the bride's make-up than the bridesmaid. I think that's just a blatant example of what some of the wedding books I read warned about: taking advantage of a wedding to pad charges. Exactly why would the bride cost more than twice as much as the bridesmaid? There ain't twice as much face, people! It was a little frustrating.
Perhaps that explains my dive into the Soy Dream when I got home? Actually, probably not. What explains that is that it's Soy Dream's Very Cherry Chocolate Chip flavor, which does a damn fine job of replicating Cherry Garcia, my favorite ice cream flavor. Who could resist?
And I didn't really need to resist. I probably just need to not eat quite as much as I did.
