Day 246: Ah, to have groceries!
Now, don't get excited that having groceries results in something more exciting or varietal than my usual fare, but it does mean we didn't order dinner in, or scrounge around in take-out containers for our meals.
We have no huge plans for the long weekend. Actually I have some work on tap today and tomorrow. And Monday we're driving over the hill to do a wedding cake tasting. I was kind of hoping to sleep some this weekend. Last night's opportunity was wasted, as I woke up at 3:15 and laid awake for about 2 hours before dozing off for another 2 hours. Perhaps I should be going for naps in the afternoon, instead of hoping for long uninterrupted nights of sleep. Does that work for anyone?
I still have all of my vegan cookbooks piled on our coffee table, so maybe this weekend I'll also actually try a new recipe? not that I don't really dig my vegan seitan stew that I've been making consistently for weeks now. But variety is supposed to be the spice of life. Call me Vegan Spice, I guess...a zigga zigga zoom.
