Day 245: Wow, errands. Out in the physical world. That was weird.
Yesterday I could no longer put off doing a few real-live errands in meatspace. I desperately needed to buy a new bluetooth headset. I desperately needed to take my car in for service. I desperately needed to deposit some checks and get cash. I desperately need to grocery shop. I actually could have done the first and last items on that list online, but that being said, it's not like I had done them online in the weeks that I'd needed to do them.
I pat myself on the back, because I was quite efficient about these tasks. I dropped my car off, then I walked to a nearby strip mall where I ate breaklunch and then shopped at the Office Depot next door for my headset. I picked up my car, drove home and stopped at the Safeway, which also happens to have a Wells Fargo ATM.
Yes, I prefer Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, but sometimes Safeway is perfectly fine. And so it was yesterday.
It was odd to be out and about in the day time and not be meeting with my business partners. Hmmm. I need to get out more, I think.
But it was another day of skipping breakfast, so rap on the knuckles for that.
Breaklunch (Togos):
Avocado, Lettuce and Tomato on Sourdough Roll with Mustard
Diet Pepsi
Jalapeno Chips (Non-vegan alert: the mo-fos had whey in them, which I discovered after buying them. They weren't a cheese-oriented potato chip, so why the hell did they need whey? But I ate them anyway. Bad vegan!)
Snack:
Leftover fried Tofu and Vegetarian Srping Rolls with Peanut Sauce
Dinner:
Leftover Pad Thai, Braised Tofu and Curried Tofu
