Day 110: Vegan Heaven in NYC

Flew into NYC last night and had plans to meet someone for a late dinner. I'm not a late dinner kind of gal, but given I was on California time it was no issue. And it gave me a chance to try Candle 79, an upscale vegan restaurant on the upper East Side. Oh, vegan heaven!

Breakfast:
Organic Corn Flakes
Organic Rice Milk
Organic PineappleJuice

Lunch (on a plane):
Nuts
Greens w/vinaigrette
Sourdough Roll
Avocado Sandwich on Sourdough Bread w/Lettuce, Tomato and Mustard

Dinner (Candle79)
Organic Pomegranate Juice
Mushroom Trio appetizer...to complex and lucious to describe!
Seitan Piccata w/Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Mexican Chocolate Cake w/Vanilla Chocolate Chip "Ice Cream"

Seriously, some day if they reveal that Candle 79 has been lying to customers all along and feeding them rich delicacies full of all the foods veg*ns are not supposed to eat...i will not be shocked!
