Blogger and Offbeat Bride Ariel Meadow Stallings is coming to BlogHer this summer to talk about going from book to blog and back again. In the meantime she wrote a column for Elle Canada about having a vegan wedding, even though she isn't one. (Her husband is.)
Why she agreed to a vegan wedding, even though she isn't one:
Yeah!I put up one tiny argument (“But I'm not vegan . . .”), but ultimately I sympathize with the fact that he is rarely in an environment where everything is vegan. If there's any event that should cater to his diet, it should be his wedding. Our wedding.
I'm hoping my mom and S.O. can appreciate the same argument.
